Let’s Connect

Reaching out for help can be nerve-wracking, but you've already taken a big step.

If you're ready to embark on a journey to conquer your worries and find your inner peace, let's connect. I'm here to be your ally, your confidant, and your guide on this path to peace.

Reach out, and let's begin.

Before scheduling a therapy session, I do a free 15-minute intro video or phone call with all potential new clients. This gives us a chance to get to know each other. Here’s what we cover:

  • I'll ask you about why you're seeking therapy

  • I'll tell you about myself and my approach to therapy

  • You can ask me any questions you might have

  • We'll talk about cost, insurance, scheduling, etc.

I will respond within 48 hours of your reaching out.

I only respond Monday through Friday.

We serve clients in Arizona, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, New Jersey, & Maryland

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I see most my clients weekly or every two weeks. We’ll decide together when and if we will increase or decrease your frequency of sessions to best meet your goals and needs.

  • I offer three options, and we’ll decide what we want to do together. I recommend we start out with the typical 60-minute sessions. I offer 75-minute sessions for when we need a little extra time. Maybe something big has happened or you like to talk for awhile before and after some brainspotting work. And 45-minute sessions might be the best option for those who are squeezing in a therapy session over their lunchbreak or are toward the end of the journey and would like to continue to work on something or check in and find the full 60 minutes isn’t needed.

  • It is totally normal to feel anxious or nervous before you start with a new therapist! As a therapist, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space that makes it a bit easier to get started. During our first session or two, I’ll ask you a bunch of questions to help me form a better picture of you, your world, and your journey. I’ll listen to you without judgement and may ask a few follow up questions. Together, we’ll come up with goals of what you hope to accomplish in therapy.

  • This one is hard to answer. It varies from person to person and depends on your goals and circumstances. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, but your commitment to personal growth and the reasons you're seeking counseling will play a big role.

  • Great question! I take your confidentiality and privacy very seriously. I use a HIPAA compliant medical records system for storing all of our session records and appointments. I also use this system to send intake forms and paperwork to ensure your information is protected. There may be times where you want me to share information about our sessions to a family member, other medical professional, or someone else. In those cases, I will have you complete a release giving me permission to disclose your information to that person.

    • There are a few times where I am required by law to tell someone what is going on in our sessions:

    • If you disclose thoughts or plans to harm yourself

    • If you disclose thoughts or plans to harm someone else

    • If I am issued a subpoena by the courts
